Pei Wei was spending a lot of money to lease legacy caller id devices that required a physical COM connection to thier POS ordering system.
With thier new digital VoIP system from Century link, they had to lease Caller id devices for each ordering terminal to support Caller ID to POS system transfer.
Solid Cloud developed a custom service application to work with Century Link's modern call APIs and simulate the COM device over a Virtual COM port.
This worked seamlessly with Pei Wei's ordering system allowing them to get rid of the legacy caller ID devices.
Pei Wei saved thousands of dollars / month by eliminating the need for the legacy caller ID devices in all their restaurants.
We completed this project under budget and right on schedule.
